Queen City High School Jam 2019
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
On November 22nd and 23rd of 2019, members of the BGS community teamed up with five teams of grade school students from the Western New York region to design and develop the students' first video games. With the theme of the jam being "A Better Buffalo", five games were created, and you can check them out right here!
Cardinal Craze
It's that time of the year again to compete against different grades to see who can be the guardian of the fabled 'Rock of Mt. Pelion'! Can you collect the most coins at the Penny Wars competition and hold the rightful place as the Guardian? Created by students from City Honors School.
Buffalo Snowpocalypse
It's cold outside! So cold it's turning the homeless into evil snowmen! Get out onto the streets to warm them up and get them to the city mission! But don't get caught by the snowmen, they'll turn the folks you save back into snowmen, and eventually capture you too! Created by students from the Lewis J. Bennett School of Innovative Technology.
Queen City Cleanup
The city streets are looking filthy! Get to the streets and clean them up, filling potholes along the way. Created by students sponsored by WNY STEM.
Buffalo Blaster
The roads in Buffalo have become riddled with potholes! It's up to you and your trusty pothole-filling hammer to fix up the roads for a better Buffalo. Created by students from the Buffalo Academy of Science.
The Queen City High School Game Jam was made possible by sponsorship from WNY STEM, Infotech WNY and AT&T.
